Digital Maker Camp Series

(10 years old and above)

The Digital Maker Camps are for children who are ready to start tinkering with electronics to make bigger projects. The camps introduce electronics and coding concepts on the micro:bit platform.

In each camp, children will work towards building a project that they will bring home. They will feel a sense of accomplishment as they build their projects with as minimal a guidance from our facilitators as possible to encourage independence.

Cloud LED Lamp

Got your head stuck in the clouds? Or find them relaxing and inspiring? Why not channel that creative energy into making your own Cloud LED Lamp with a highly ethereal effect!

From $80 · 3 hrs · Bring back your project

Krazy Kar

It barely passes as a car, but you will love it because you made it all on your own. It zigs, and it zags, because it cannot go straight.

From $80 · 3 hrs · Bring back your project

Table-top Shooter

Make and code your own table-top shooter, complete with a terrifying dragon and a prized cow. Customise it to fit your own fantastical story.

From $80 · 3 hrs · Bring back your project

Previous Camps

Our other in-demand holiday camps (listed below) will be back during the June/July and November/December holidays.

PlayMaker Camp Series

(6 years old and above)

PlayMaker camps are for young children who are exploring creating and making. Through fun creative projects linked to STEM, we encourage children to develop their problem solving and reasoning skills.

The camps are designed to promote creative problem solving, logical reasoning, design thinking and innovation.

Cardboard Maker

Spend a fun morning making cardboard objects with our cardboard sculptor friend, Bart. You will build a coin bank, robot and F1 car. Appreciate how the humble cardboard is transformed into useful pieces of art, and how accessible it is for you to be a maker.
$40 · 2 hrs · Bring back what you make

PlayMaker I

Explore simple electricity by making cards that light up with Circuit Stickers. Then light up sculptures made with Conductive Dough and masking tape with LEDs. Finally build simple robots that move out of everyday objects.
$240 · 2 x 4hrs · Bring back your projects

PlayMaker II

Explore more interactive electronics projects with littleBits. Then get creative with some coding with colours using ozoBots. Also explore building mechanical structures with MakeDo and Strawbees.
$240 · 2 x 4hrs · Bring back your projects

Explorer Camps

(10 years old and above)

Our Explorer Camps allow children to explore a range of tech domains in short bursts.

Game Developer I (Bloxels)

Build games using blocks and your imagination! Design your own heroes and villains, build exciting levels, and make them come to life with stories and animations. A special workshop by Kris Lee of Pixel Quest Academy!
$280 · 2 x 3 hrs

Generative Artist I

Want to learn programming, but not too excited about making little block-based games? Make original art with real code in this camp. You’ll write code in Python on Processing, a widely-used platform to make digital art and animations.
$300 · 4 x 3hrs

Generative Artist II

A continuation of the first camp, go deeper by adding user interaction and use transforms (scale, rotate, shear) to create even more complex art and animation.
$300 · 4 x 3hrs

Roboticist

Get started building on the LEGO MINDSTORMS platform with our friends from CORE Robotics! This introductory workshop will get you started with mechanical construction and programming.
$160 · 2 x 3hrs

High-Tech Maker Camps

(13 years old and above)

Here’s your entry pass to join the Maker Movement: learn to create physical and electronic technology prototypes in this course. Get started becoming a maker with modern making technologies like 3D printers, laser cutters, and circuit printers.

CNC Paper cutting and Carving

Learn to design 2D designs in Inkscape, an open-source vector illustration program, then send it to our Brother ScanNCut and Snap Maker machines for cutting and carving.
$160 · 2 x 3 hrs · Bring back what you make

Laser Cutting

Learn to design 2D designs in Inkscape, an open-source vector illustration program, then send it to our laser cutter to cut acrylic and wood. Also learn how to design to create 3D structures from flat pieces.
$160 · 2 x 3 hrs · Bring back what you make

3D Printing

Learn to design 3D objects in Tinkercad, an easy-to-use 3D CAD design tool, and send it to our 3D printers to fabricate.
$160 · 2 x 3 hrs · Bring back what you make

Electronics

Learn to solder components together, and also learn simple circuits to build simple gadgets that move and light up.
$160 · 2 x 3 hrs · Bring back what you make
This camp was an eye-opener as we could use many of the latest equipment in the industry today. My favourite was the 3D printer as it was really quite cool and fun to see a digital image on the computer become 3D in real-life.

Deep Dive Camps

(13 years old and above)

Our deep-dive camps are for older children to explore tech domains in depth.

Minecraft Hacker

Do you want to learn coding? But is sitting in front of a screen full of weird symbols too boring for you? Then how about some Minecraft! We will teach you how to interact the Minecraft world using python, just like Neo did in The Matrix!
Are you ready for some excitement?
$480 · 4 x 5 hrs · Bring back a Raspberry Pi kit

Cybersecurity Analyst

Discover how computers and networks work, and learn to encrypt and decrypt secret messages in Python code.
