Who is Swift Accelerator for?

Swift Accelerator is an eight-month programme for students who want to build and publish their own iOS app. Places go to successful applicants, who are fully subsidised by IMDA, and sessions run at Apple's Singapore office. You'll learn Swift, design to Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, and finish by publishing a working app on the App Store. Course Overview

Swift Accelerator is an eight-month app development programme for students, fully subsidised by IMDA for successful applicants and held at Apple's Singapore office. Through hands-on projects and mentoring, participants learn the Swift programming language, design to Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, and finish by publishing a working iOS app on the App Store.

Lesson Outcomes

  • Master Swift Programming: Gain a deep understanding of the Swift programming language, including its syntax, data structures, control flow, and object-oriented programming principles.

  • Apply Apple's Human Interface Guidelines: Learn how to design and develop user-friendly and visually appealing iOS and macOS apps that adhere to Apple's design standards and best practices.

  • Build and Deploy iOS Apps: Develop and test iOS apps, integrate with Apple's frameworks and APIs, and successfully deploy them to the App Store.
