Tinkercademy runs this hands-on module for SMU Academy’s Industry Practice Master of Digital Economy. Participants learn the building blocks of digital making through coding concepts and ESP32 microcontrollers, then create connected prototypes that respond to sound, touch, and light.

  • Learn and apply introductory coding concepts, such as loops, variables, and functions, through block-based languages and Python

  • Learn to program ESP32 microcontrollers

  • Connect a variety of input sensors and output devices to microcontrollers, and control them through code
