Course Overview
Students will learn visual and interactive prototyping through a design thinking process involving brainstorming, idea generation, and prototyping. They will make use of UI/UX tools utilised by professionals: FigJam for collaborative brainstorming, Figma for creating visually appealing interactive UI/UX designs, and Figma Slides to effectively communicate their design solutions.
This course is suitable for students with no programming or design experience, but are interested in developing instincts for building web and mobile applications for users.

Project
Students will create an app prototype or experience, which can be submitted for the Swift Explorers Challenge.
Requirements
Hardware: Windows, Mac, Chromebook, iPad
Software: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge. Figma is a web-based application. For iPad, we recommend the free Figurative app.
