Lesson Outcomes

Demonstrate solid foundation in back and front-end web development
Understand and implement roles in a software development team
Collaboratively create a simple project specification
Plan for project creation by creating online mock-ups
Understand the need for software source control, and how it applies to usage in teams
Create a minimum viable product for a full-stack web app

Course Overview

This module allows knowledge to be put to test through the creation of a capstone project. Participants will work on a web app around a theme of their choice, using one or more web development technologies learned in the course: Express, Firebase, MySQL, React, and more. Participants will complete a functional web app prototype, deployed to cloud hosting, by the end of the module.
