Hands-on experience with analogue and digital making
Enhance design thinking
Tinker and engineer with paper, cardboard and other craft material
Implement working physical prototypes with littleBits, Circuit Stickers, and other materials
In this course, participants will learn making and design thinking through a series of activities. Individuals will be introduced to digital making, why it is important and what can be made. They will learn about electricity, batteries and circuits using Circuit Stickers and simple LEDs. They will also be introduced to littleBits (input/output, dierent sensors) and will explore interactive electronics through a series of hands-on activities. Participants will also explore mechanical engineering concepts and principles through building automata, marble machines, and sculptures made from straw, paper and cardboard.
